Type 316-NM (non-metallic) stainless steel hammerlock link’s name comes for the action of pounding the pin in to place. Hammerlock links are very strong clips and should be used as a replacement for connecting links when high strength is desirable. The WLL is based on a tension load, not on the shock load. Make sure that components are matched with the same WLL.
