6×36 bright wire rope is included in the 6×37 classification of wire rope, it is made from Extra Improved Plow Steel (EIPS) and has an independent wire rope core (IWRC). The 6×36 bright wire rope consists of 6 outer strands of 36 wires each with an IWRC and is a more flexible wire rope than the 6×19 classification although has less abrasion resistance. These wire ropes provide an excellent balance between fatigue and wear resistance and are a very popular, general purpose rope that will give long service with drums and sheaves of moderate size.
