6×26 galvanized wire rope is included in the 6×26 classification of wire rope, it is made from Extra Improved Plow Steel (EIPS) and has an independent wire rope core (IWRC). The 6×26 galvanized wire rope consists of 6 outer strands of 26 wires each with an IWRC and is the least flexible wire rope in the 6×26 classification. These wire ropes provide an excellent balance between fatigue and wear resistance and are a very popular, general purpose rope that will give long service with drums and sheaves of moderate size.
