Polyester Double Braid
Our Polyester Double Braid rope is a high strength rope
with low stretch. This type of rope also features torquebalanced
construction which will prevent hockling, while
special tension setting & stabilization processes keep
the rope dimensionally stable. Additional benefits of
polyester double braid rope is that the polyester fibers
handle excellent in tough weather environments and has
great wet/dry abrasion resistance.

- Ideal for running rigging and ideally suited for halyards
- Will not kink, backlay or hockle
- Stores well and is unaffected by mildew, rot, and most acids and alkalis

- Eyes are hand spliced, whipped & sewn at throat & bitter end
- Custom chafing gear available in leather, cordura or dipped

Are approximate average for new, unused ropes. To estimate the minimum tensile strength of a new rope, reduce the approximate average by 15% (Cordage Institute defines minimum tensile strength as two standard deviations below the average tensile strength of the rope).
