Clevis Grab Hook - Miami Cordage

Products

The stainless steel clevis grab hook has a clevis and pin at the base of the hook and is useful for “grabbing” onto chain. The clevis end is used to fasten the hook to a bracket or chain. As a part of a fastener, the clevis provides a method of allowing rotation in some axes while restricting rotation in others. The clevis grab hook has a U-shaped piece with holes at the end of the prongs to accept the clevis pin. The clevis pin is similar to a bolt, but is only partially threaded or unthreaded with a cross-hole for a cotter pin.

Clevis Grab Hooks are used in a wide variety of fastener applications for farming equipment, sailboat rigging, as well as the automotive, aircraft and construction industries. Type 316 Stainless Steel finish makes this an ideal grab hook for the marine environment due to its resistance to corrosion in the elements.

  • Type 316 stainless steel & drop forged
  • WLLs are based on gradual pull, not shock loads
  • Includes removable clevis pin
